Who made this garment
Naz Production Partners. RCS Linhos is one of the last linen weavers left in Portugal, and where 95% of our linen garments start.

RCS Linhos

With almost no linen weavers left in Portugal, we were so lucky to find this special one. The owner, Oscar, always teaches us something new and is always eager to learn different things.

Naz Production Partners. Our buttons come from one of the oldest factories in Portugal

They started in the 60s, with an innovative technology: buttons from polyester resin. Now, they kindly offer ecological biodegradable buttons, made from natural components, such as cotton, recycled paper, vegetables, fruit, wood, etc.)

Naz Production Partners. YKK is the leading zipper manufacturer of the world, and we are blessed to have a factory here in Portugal where they produce 100% recycled zippers.

All our zippers are produced in Portugal, made in 100% recycled plastic.

Naz Production Partners. Our garment dyed garments are dyed at this facility that has GOTS certification

Our garments are dyed at this facility with GOTS certification, ensuring  the water ph is balanced and all the harmful chemicals are gone.

Naz Production Partners. Our Woven partner is a small, family-owned factory, where the workforce is 100% made of women.

Our woven garment partner is a small, family-owned factory, where the workforce is 100% made of women. Visiting them is always a big pleasure, and the icing on the cake is to meet up with Cristina, the extraordinary multi-tasked woman that manages everything.

More about the material
Linen flax plants can grow in poor land, and even rehabilitate it.

Linen comes from Flax trees, which can grow in poor land that is not used for food production - in some cases, it can even rehabilitate polluted soil.

Rainwater is the most used way to cultivate flax, as it needs 60% less water than conventional cotton. That saves 307 litres of water per kilo of fibre on its production, compared to cotton (yes, a bit shocking).
