With almost no linen weavers left in Portugal, we were so lucky to find this special one. The owner, Oscar, always teaches us something new and is always eager to learn different things.

They started in the 60s, with an innovative technology: buttons from polyester resin. Now, they kindly offer ecological biodegradable buttons, made from natural components, such as cotton, recycled paper, vegetables, fruit, wood, etc.)

By not using harmful chemicals, organic cotton means a healthier planet since it reduces the risk of acidification of water by 79% and the risk of eutrophication by 93%.
Being mostly rain-fed, savings on water can go up to 79% and almost 60% on emissions, as a big part of cotton growing emissions comes from fertilizers and pesticides used.
