We didn't want to create yet another boring basic tee, so Dawn was born from the need for a simple t-shirt, but with an elegant twist created by the knit we use.
The textured knit and the hem finishings create a feminine and elegant touch without losing the comfort of the loose basic tee.

Who Made This?
Jolusitex - Circular Knits
With 13 years of expertise in developing circular knit garments, they produce everything in-house. Their small factory has 25 workers and it's based in Barcelos, Portugal.
Classwash - Dying Partner
Our garments are dyed at this facility with GOTS certification and a water treament facility to ensure the water PH is balanced and ready to be treated in the waste water facility.
Is Cotton Bad for the Environment?
We're going to be honest here. Cotton production is awful for the environment, but let's face it, nothing produces in this quantity is going to be good.
When using cotton we try to use it either recycled, deadstock or, if we really need it, organic. Because using what exists is always going to be better than producing new.
Why Organic?
By not using harmful chemicals, organic cotton means a healthier planet since it reduces the risk of water acidification and eutrophication.
Being mostly rain-fed, savings on water can go up to 79% and almost 60% on emissions, as a big part of cotton growing emissions comes from fertilizers and pesticides used.
How to Care for it?

Probably the biggest concern when caring for cotton knits is to make sure it doesn't end up in your child drawer because it shrank.

Wash Less
Rule #1: do not wash your garments every time you wear them, ok? If you have a tiny stain, why not spot clean it?

Wash on Cold Temperatures
Always Wash Cold (30º it's not cold , ok?), only things that need to be desinfected need hot water, like sheets and towels or the pajamas you wore when you were very sick. Other than that, keep it cool.
Golden Rule: Don't Tumble Dry
When drying always Air Dry, the temperature and friction of the tumble drier will shrink your pieces and create pilling.
When drying always dry Flat, try to lay it out neatly so it retains its shape forever!
